Wellness Class Formats by Xuyen
VINYASA / POWER FLOW:
A fluid pace class designed to help build strength, increase mobility, improve flexibility and broaden your range of motion. You will challenge your balance, mental acuity and learn to “fly”.
SLOW FLOW:
This gentle class with methodically guide you through foundational yoga asanas (poses). You will practice an array of breathing exercises, meditative techniques and feel good inside plus outside.
HOT YOGA / BIKRAM:
Bikram or Hot Style Yoga is known for its intense and challenging nature, aiming to improve strength, flexibility, balance, and mental focus. The elevated heat is believed to facilitate deeper stretching, detoxification, and injury prevention.
HATHA:
A branch of yoga that emphasizes the alignment of the body, proper breathing, and concentration to promote overall health and well-being. It is suitable for practitioners of all levels and can be a foundation for other styles of yoga practice.
YIN:
A slow-paced style of yoga that focuses on long-held, passive stretches targeting the connective tissues in the body, such as ligaments, tendons, and fascia. Poses are typically held for 3 to 5 minutes and compliments more dynamic forms of yoga or exercise.
CIRCUIT TRAINING / HIIT:
Circuit training and High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) are dynamic forms of exercise designed to maximize calorie burn, improve cardiovascular fitness, and build strength in a time-efficient manner.
BARRE:
A dynamic and low-impact workout inspired by elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga that focuses on small, isometric movements, targeting muscles in the legs, glutes, core, and arms. In combination with stretching, high repetition, and light weights, barre will sculpt and tone the body, improve posture, and enhance flexibility.
YOGALATES:
Flow through this high energy, high intensity, dynamic class with the use of your own body weight and/or props. Expect to sweat!
YOGA SCULPT:
Flow through this high energy, high intensity, dynamic class with the use of your own body weight and/or props. Expect to sweat!
MEDITATION:
A guided session that explores different techniques to cultivate mindfulness, reduce stress, and promote overall well-being through meditation and mindful breathing.
